Holly Gerrish, BN

 Holly Gerrish is the founder, editor and manager of EnerChiHealth.com, a company dedicated to presenting qualtiy information and resources on complementary and alternative health practices.

Holly graduated from the College of New Caledonia in Prince George, B.C. and began her nursing career in 1983 in an acute care hospital in Calgary on a pre/post operative cardiac medical and surgical unit. She was an Instructor for the Mount Royal College Nursing Program in 1985 to 1986. Holly returned to the University of Calgary and obtained her Bachelor of Nursing (BN) in 1988 while working part time as an Administrative Coordinator of an acute care Hospital in Calgary.

Upon graduation, Holly spent the next 10 years working in Family Medicine, Day Surgery, Outpatient Geriatric Assessment, Outpatient Diabetic Assessment and Education, Cardiac Rehabilitation, and the Outpatient Gastro-intestinal Clinic. In 1998 she left the hospital setting to do further research and educate the Canadian community on the value and cautions of complementary and alternative medicine but continues to be a
non-practicing member of the Alberta Association of Registered Nurses.

Holly, who was once very much committed to conventional medicine as being the best option, now incorporates her medical expertise with her complementary and alternative health expertise to offer the most reliable information the field. Holly is recognized as a Canadian leader and trusted source of reliable, objective information on complementary and alternative medicine.
