| Can Prayers Heal? |
My husband was undergoing aggressive chemotherapy when my neighbor and very good friend came over before they headed off to church and asked how Mark was doing. I responded by saying things were going as good as can be expected. She told me that she was going to have the church pray for him that day. Not having a religious background, I felt I guess you could say a little embarrassed at the thought of mostly strangers praying for my husband who didn't attend their church but I responded and thanked her. Years later and after countless hours of research on prayer, I know that all of the prayers for Mark were heard and was a part of his healing process. Since that day, I have learned to lead a more spiritual life and enjoy all the rewards it offers. Many Thanks, |
