The
Way I See It; Health Readings From the Man With
X-ray Vision
by Jay Caliendo
I
received a book in the mail for review and as I glanced at the title
"The Way I See It; Health Readings From the Man With X-ray
Vision, by Jay Caliendo, I was intrigued to read on.
Jay Caliendo
is a Police Sergeant with the Phoenix Police department who confesses
that he can see health related issues in others simply by looking
at them and claims his accuracy with medical issues to be about
89%. In his book he describes how at the age of 22, shortly after
his baptism he received "without a doubt, a gift from God."
"The Way
I See It" is an account of Caliendo's readings over the years.
He identifies the persons age, sex, birth date, the problem presented
and what he saw and his suggested treatment or action. He has grouped
the readings by medical conditions, listing over 90 different ailments.
He has read people with a wide range of illnesses including, allergies,
Alzheimer's, ALS, anxiety, arthritis, asthma, autism, chronic fatigue,
depression, diabetes, fibromyalgia, hair loss, migraines, lupus,
multiple sclerosis, pain, radiation exposure, reproductive issues,
sleep problems, trauma, and tremors to name a few.
His book confirms
that we are all unique individuals and from his findings people
don't acquire the same diseases the same way nor are the treatments
or approach to healing always the same for the same diagnosis or
similar symptoms.
Caliendo considers
himself mainstream but does recommend complementary and alternative
therapies such as naturopathy, acupuncture, rolfing, a detox or
body cleanse, hypnosis, reflexology, tai chi, yoga, natural hormone
replacement therapy, massage, energy work, chiropractics etc.
If you are looking
for answers that you have not been able to find through other avenues
this book may be helpful. This book is also important for health
professionals to review as it does lead one to believe that there
may be a few different approaches still left to try once all of
the mainstream options have been exhausted.
Caliendo says
"his objective in life is to help as many people as he can,"
and in doing so has been featured on radio talk shows, local TV
and national radio shows as well as been live in person reading
the crowd and offering people more options to think about. He hopes
that by helping others to see a different angle to the problem he
might to shed some new light on their quest for healing.
