Dr. Tasleem Kassam ND

Dr. Kassam graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto, Ontario in May of 1999. While at CCNM, she served a three year term as Student Representative on CCNM's Board of Governors. In her final clinical year, she also spent 8 of 12 months working in the College clinic geared specifically towards the treatment of people with AIDS and HIV.

Dr. Kassam graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science with a Specialization in Cell Biotechnology from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta. After two years of working in research, she travelled to East Africa where she was exposed to natural healing methods of medicine which inspired her to continue her training in naturopathic medicine.

Her practice is focused on general family medicine with a special interest in the treatment of allergies, asthma, eczema and immune disorders. Dr. Kassam presently practices in Calgary, AB and opened the Elemental Naturopathic Clinic in March, 2001.
