Jennifer Gerlitz, Certified Aromatherapist & Level 2 Reiki Practitioner

Jennifer Gerlitz is a Certified Aromatherapist and the owner of Scentsability Aromatherapy. She has been a practitioner of aromatherapy for over nine years. Her knowledge base has accumulated from several avenues; training at Mount Royal College and currently completing the International Certification through Pacific Institute of Aromatherapy (overseen by Dr. Kurt Schnaubelt) as well as hundreds of client inquires and requests.

Jennifer has had the pleasure of being invited to speak at Wellness Week hosted by the Students' Association of Mount Royal College and at the University of Calgary. She has been interviewed by Lorraine Bruce at The Fulcrum to help inform the public about aromatherapy facts and falsehoods.

Jennifer in working closely with United Aromatherapy Effort (UAE) and has had the recent honour of adopting the Brooklyn Roadrunners at Engine 240 and 48 Battalion, a New York firehouse to assist those affected by the devastation of September 11, 2001. This program allows Jennifer to donate products, web links and advertising to support the cause.

Jennifer was once asked "Why aromatherapy?", she responded, "because aromatherapy is my passion, it is something I truly love to do and it makes such a huge difference in the quality of people's lives." Jennifer's goal of is to encourage people to take an active role in the promotion of their health and well being, as well as, teaching others how to help themselves through the use of aromatherapy.
